Do not panic, while it is uncommon for this to happen, it can occur. This is typically due to an irritation or allergic response to the adhesives that the individual wasn’t previously aware that they had. If this occurs, simply discontinue use and the rash should clear within 2-3 days. We do recommend cutting and trying a little test strip of the adhesive prior to use.

My wife used one last night on her hip and was surprised to find this morning that it was damp. There was a marked decrease in pain in the bursitis area. It may interest you to know of the progress with the OSMO patches. Days 1 to 4 a small reduction in the swelling in the thigh. Days 4 to 7 a further reduction in swelling but no reduction in pain. Days 8 to 9 swelling almost gone and a big reduction in pain. We now await delivery of our second box of patches and hope the improvement continues.

After noticing a swollen lump on my elbow almost half the size of a tennis ball, I visited my doctor who explained it was a bursa and could be drained but would likely re-occur. Like others, I found your website and decided to “give it a go” although being a little skeptical.
