Thank you for your informative reply, I shall take notice of the hints and tips in your e-mail and will apply them during the treatment of my wife’s Trochanteric Bursitis . It may interest you to know of the progress with the OSMO patches. Days 1 to 4 a small reduction in the swelling in the thigh. Days 4 to 7 a further reduction in swelling but no reduction in pain. Days 8 to 9 swelling almost gone and a big reduction in pain. We now await delivery of our second box of patches and hope the improvement continues.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I started using the patches about 10 days ago, and the amount of improvement is unbelievable. The lump was rock hard, and I could not bend the knee, nor straighten the leg. Even though there is still some swelling, the knee feels almost normal. I have run out of the patches, so will restart as soon as I receive the new batch…hopefully it will all go away.

General Bursitis

Ok, I have an arthritic knee from playing American football and having an operation when I was 18. Going to a doctor to have it drained would cost me well over $220. I know that I will need to get this knee replaced sometime in the near future and you can only do this one time, so it is in my best interest to find a way to prolong the knee replacement.

I tried the OSMO Patch about 1-2 years ago, thinking it may be a gimmick, and it was no gimmick because it works. The pressure on my knee is lessened by morning and I can move around a lot better. I’m health conscious, watch what I eat, go to the gym 3-4 times a week and of course I work. Hi, just a quick note that I feel I needed to write about the OSMO Patches. In September I tripped over while running and fell on my knee which left me with a fractured bone at the back of my knee which in turn ruptured my cruciate ligament. Although back on track now after various braces, crutches and hydrotherapy plus physiotherapy, it seemed I had gained a cyst at the back of my knee. Although I had never heard of your product and neither had my physiotherapist, I decided to give them a try as they wouldn’t hurt even if they didn’t help. I just reordered some of those wonderful patches. I also wanted to leave some feedback. I’ve used the patches once before for my shoulder bursitis. The most pain I have is at night, and it is very hard to sleep.

So, I tried to patches, and to my amazement, the pain is 99% better, and I can sleep. At any time when the pain wakes me, I can go back to sleep (which I couldn’t before).

Hello Toky,

I used the patches for 5 nights on by left knee with bakers cyst and by the fifth time, the patch was dry- I then took that to mean that all fluid has been removed.

It’s been 2 days since that I have no pain, no more swelling at back of left knee, compared to my right knee they both feel/look the same size, which tells me they are normal sizes again.
